The PACER STC Library is open to visitors during open hours. We are continuing to provide loans of assistive technology through several borrowing options: Simon Technology Center's Assistive Technology Lending Library We cannot guarantee it will work on your current computer operating system. Requirements: Most STC software is older and was created for older operating systems. Short instructional steps, repetition, and constant positive reinforcement build self-confidence in the student. At ten-word intervals, review and test activities are provided allowing teachers to test student knowledge of learned words. Comprehension questions focus students' attention on the meaning within the stories. Story Book Lessons include 100 illustrated stories with colorful full-page drawings. Level 2 introduces colorful new graphics and two adolescent characters who are the focus of real-life situation stories. Level 2 teaches 200 words including compound words, as well as reviewing and reinforcing words learned in Level 1. Level 2 continues to provide students with one-to-one teacher-to-student lessons. The Edmark Reading Program, Level 2, is an extension of Level 1 for students who have successfully completed Level 1 but are not yet ready for a more traditional reading approach.
